Circular Head 2024

Welcome! Relay For Life is a fun and moving experience that raises vital funds for the Cancer Council’s research, prevention and supportive care services. Relay is a chance for the community to recognise and celebrate local cancer survivors, those going through a cancer experience and their carers, to honour and remember loved ones lost and to raise money to help save more lives. All funds raised in Tasmania, stay in Tasmania. Youth Policy

The Cancer Council requires that every person under the age of 18 must have approval by a parent or guardian to register for and participate in Relay For Life events.

    Youth Teams

Cancer Council Tasmania requires that teams where the majority of members are under 18 must have two registered adult supervisors present at all times throughout the Relay For Life event. Youth Team Supervisors must be over 21 years of age and are responsible for the behaviour and conduct of the youth they oversee.

Code of Conduct for Youth Teams

We want all participants to enjoy their Relay For Life experience. Common sense is key to everyone having a good time. This means considering and being respectful of the needs of other participants, abiding by the event rules and complying with all reasonable requests from members of the organising committee or Cancer Council Tasmania staff.
