Our Beautiful Kea- Forever Young
Kea was diagnosed with a rare cancer - Signet ring cell cancer in May 2009. After major surgery, Kea began chemotherapy in June 2009. Kea fought so hard to stay with those she loved. Sadly in August 2010 Kea passed away. A few weeks after Kea had left us, we began trying to safely save Kea's photos and special documents. We found a list that Kea had written "Things to do when I get better" Kea wanted to raise awareness of the impact cancer has on so many families and also to raise funds for cancer research.
This is our 14th year relaying as Team Kea.
