Days to go

Welcome to Penguin Relay For Life!

Come one, come all! Relay For Life - an event that is both enjoyable and touching - contributes to raising vital funds for the Cancer Council's research, prevention, and supportive care services. Relay offers a wonderful opportunity for the East Coast community to acknowledge and celebrate local cancer survivors, those going through a cancer experience and their caregivers, as well as pay tribute to loved ones lost and to raise money to help save more lives. Every dollar raised in Tasmania, stays in Tasmania! Be a part of the multitude of Australians who participate in the Cancer Council's Relay For Life every year and help pave the way to a cancer-free future. Sign up or join a team in the Penguin 2026 Relay today!

Youth Policy

The Cancer Council requires that every person under the age of 18 must have approval by a parent or guardian to register for and participate in Relay For Life events.

Youth Teams

Cancer Council Tasmania requires that teams where the majority of members are under 18 must have two registered adult supervisors present at all times throughout the Relay For Life event. Youth Team Supervisors must be over 21 years of age and are responsible for the behaviour and conduct of the youth they oversee.

Code of Conduct for Youth Teams

We want all participants to enjoy their Relay For Life experience. Common sense is key to everyone having a good time. This means considering and being respectful of the needs of other participants, abiding by the event rules and complying with all reasonable requests from members of the organising committee or Cancer Council Tasmania staff.
