We did it!
Thanks to everyone who donated and/or visited us over the weekend, it's all a great morale booster for those us who are dreading staying overnight in the cold (it's got down to -2!) and great motivation for anyone walking at the time.
As you can see by the total raised, you all contributed to (I think) our biggest fund raising ever, special thanks to Marching Ants team members who made amazing donations, thanks so much, we missed seeing you this year!
The bead lap counters were a large contributor to the fundraising also. We sold over 200 beads raising a total of $1070, which is TWICE as many as last year. I had to spend most of Saturday tying new strings and then shopping for more beads for next year since we are almost out!
We also had a visit byt he Governer General Sam Mostyn which was certainly a highlight for us, she even taught Kristie how to take a .5 selfie and download a picture via airdrop (I don't use an iPhone, so had no idea either).
