Team Ethan!
This year we are walking for and with Ethan.Ethan is a bright and lively 10 year old boy who faces the world with the biggest smile, two thumbs up saying "I'M OK".
We all know someone who has been affected by cancer, but we never in our mind think it will happen to one of our youngest family members, especially not the most kind hearted, generous, beautiful little boy you will ever meet.
On the 2nd December 2022 Ethan was flown to RCH Melbourne with a very large mass on his brain which had compressed his spinal cord. Ethan underwent emergency surgery and was soon after diagnosed with Ependymoma, a very rare and aggressive cancer.
Ethan has been through 2 major brain surgery, and 6 weeks of intense radiation all of which he takes within his stride with his beautiful smile and 2 thumbs up saying im ok.
As soon as ethan heard about the relay for life he quickly added it to his bucket list and here we are. Ethan would like to raise as much money as he can in order to help cure cancer and help other kids and adults like him. What great goals to have at 10 years old.
